I’ve realized that I expect too much from myself, too quickly. I want results overnight, and when things don’t happen, I feel frustrated or defeated. But now I’m telling myself: give yourself six months. Six months of showing up, trying, failing, learning, and trusting that things will start to change. It’s not about perfection—it’s about effort, patience, and believing in the process.

  • Consistency Over Perfection
    I don’t have to be perfect every day. Even if I only take small steps, like practicing a skill for 30 minutes or finishing one task, it counts. What matters is that I keep going, even when it feels slow or exhausting.
  • Notice My Progress
    I will keep track of my journey—writing in a journal, taking photos, or noting milestones. Seeing how far I’ve come reminds me that growth is real, even if I can’t feel it in the moment.
  • Celebrate the Small Wins
    I’ll celebrate every small success: completing a chapter, finishing a workout, learning something new. Each small win is proof that I’m moving forward, and it keeps me motivated to continue for the full six months.
